I booked Kubu Kutus through Booking.com three weeks ahead, paid in full, and had confirmation with the correct dates on my itinerary. They had even replied to my request. But when I arrived at check-in time, I was told every room was full and there was nothing available. I don’t expect a refund. Management seems very disorganized. I lost the money and had to walk back down the street looking for somewhere else to stay and a taxi. Very unhappy.

I’ve been staying here for a few months and am loving it. It’s a brand new, two-floor guest house among rice fields, about a 5 min walk from the black sand beach. Canggu’s cafes and lounges are still not far away. I’d recommend it if you’re looking for somewhere outside the tourist area.

My second-floor room had a view of the rice fields. It was fairly clean, and the staff were very polite. The downside is that the place is far from the highway and cafes or restaurants, so you’ll need to rent a motorbike to get where you want to go.

A good place in a quiet, newer area, with a spacious air-conditioned room, hot water, and a clean space. The pool is small, but not that small. There are a couple of shortcuts to Canggu, and you can walk along the beach from the hotel if you want to surf. Highly recommended.

A lovely place to stay, with a comfortable bed, clean rooms, and quiet nights. We extended our stay several times and will come back.
