The bedding was okay, but almost everything else disappointed. There was a cobweb beside the nightstand that remained even though the room was cleaned every other day. The towels had a dirty color and looked as if white towels had been dyed. The shower head sprayed in every direction, and the TV signal was barely usable. There is a dining room, but no cook, so we went next door for breakfast. The place was unnaturally quiet, with no music at all. Getting down to the sea was easy enough, but climbing back was awful. We also left something behind and received no reply after messaging on WhatsApp. A total disappointment.

The clean, warm pool was so inviting that we didn't want to leave it. The grounds are beautiful, the sea is within walking distance, and the rooms are comfortable. Food was delicious 😋. Most of all, the staff were kind, helpful, and genuinely lovely. It really felt like a "fairytale" 🤩🤩♥️

SKAZKA gave us a very pleasant September 2023 vacation. The hotel is cozy, clean, and nicely renovated, and the staff are attentive and friendly. The pool is a welcome bonus because the hotel sits quite high above the sea. The walk back is steep, and we used a taxi several times, though fit guests who enjoy exercise should manage fine. We did get rotavirus, of course, but that wasn't the hotel's fault. It seems to be a problem throughout Gagra. Thank you, SKAZKA.

This is a place for people who appreciate something genuine and authentic. The hotel sits away from the sea, which means you get sea air and the distant seaside sounds, along with the scents of shashlik and other southern food. The climb back from the water is also a chance to test yourself. Service is high quality without being intrusive, and every room has a wonderful view. The grounds are filled with camellias, eucalyptus, and mallows. A magnificent hotel.

We spent the New Year's holidays here twice and loved it both times. The rooms were warm and clean, the welcome was friendly, and the pool was warm, with views over the sea and mountains.
