The cozy, green grounds and beautiful garden give this place a warm, home-like feeling. It’s quiet and suited to a family holiday, with clean rooms, welcoming hosts, and interesting plants throughout the well-kept estate. The drawback is the location. The walk to the sea is long, although there’s a market, cafeteria, and shops along the way. Old Gagra and the tourist area are also far away, so walking there isn’t realistic. You’d need a taxi or cross the railway tracks to reach the bus stop. It feels somewhat suburban. I liked the property, but next time I’d rather stay closer to the sea and other amenities.

We stayed here as a family and liked the house, especially the beautiful mountain view from the balcony. The room had a TV, though only a few channels worked properly, a fairly soft bed, and a shower with a toilet. There’s also a shop right next door. I gave it 4 stars because the sea is far away and checking in was difficult.

Everything was clean, quick, and orderly. The air conditioning, private bathroom, and mini kitchen were spotless and free of odors. The grounds are spacious and well maintained, with a river running through them. There’s even a trout nursery there, with fish as large as feet. They also have their own water source.

Flora, the hostess, is very welcoming. The rooms are comfortable, and some include their own shower and toilet. Rooms without those facilities can use two shared showers and toilets, which never had queues. The sea is about a 15-minute walk away, and pharmacies and shops are nearby.
