Garden Resort Hotel

The grounds are pleasant for walking, and the well-kept beach is reached conveniently by elevator. The sea was clean, and the buffet food was delicious, though the selection wasn't especially varied. Our room was clean and comfortable. I especially want to thank the staff and Dr. David, who quickly helped when I was poisoned, supplied medication, and gave recommendations. We enjoyed our stay and will certainly return.

The breakfasts were tasty and fairly varied, with champagne included, and the staff were consistently helpful. We stayed from October 28-October 31, 2025, at the end of November. The main problem was insects, apparently some kind of bedbugs. They said it was seasonal, but we saw them throughout the hotel and in our room, and nothing was done to remove them. Food at the Mayak restaurant was also not very tasty.

Our family was split between rooms at opposite ends of the hotel, even though our Comfort room was meant for four people. There were no family rooms except a suite for the standard arrangement of two adults and two children. The hotel also advertises children's activities, but there weren't any. The administrators and staff were unresponsive, and nobody explained in advance that the hammam and sauna cost extra, despite this being a 5-star hotel. It did not meet our expectations, and I don't recommend it.

Garden Resort Gagra sits in a scenic part of Gagra near the beach. Its grounds are green, well maintained, and dotted with comfortable places to sit. Our standard room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a fully equipped bathroom and daily cleaning. It was a pleasant stay and seems suitable both for families and for anyone wanting a quiet holiday. We highly recommend it.
