The food was affordable and delicious, and there was even a play area for the children. We stayed in June and liked the place a lot. The rooms were clean, and the staff were polite and friendly. We’ll definitely return to this wonderful place.

The room was really dirty when we arrived, including a sofa covered in hair, and the toilet didn’t work, so it couldn’t be flushed. The lights and electricity were switched off for 10 minutes every day, and once everything was off for a whole day. With four days still left before departure, moving elsewhere wasn’t really possible. The food was disgusting. The oven is in the laundry room, and when pilaf was served for breakfast, hardly anyone ate it. The next day they served the same food from the day before. Ismail is the good manager here, but the workers are a mix of good and rude people. They give you 1 SMALL TOILET for 1 week, and if she gives you 2, they will get a punch in the face. There isn’t much to do outside except sit on the swing where the workers spend all day. There are also a nice armchair and chairs, but they’re reserved for the workers or the hostess’s friends. The area is fenced and locked, and the hostess keeps the keys. The oven is in the laundry room too. This is actually the best 1-STAR HOTEL.

The guesthouse is attractive, not far from the sea, and the veranda has a wonderful view. We stayed from June 18th to 25th with children. There aren’t any entertainment facilities for children on the property, though. Food wasn’t a problem for us. There was a wide choice, with the dishes rarely repeating during the week. Breakfast always had porridge, cheese, sausage, and cereal, while other meals included salads, casseroles, and main courses. Everything was delicious, and we never went hungry. Cleaning is done when requested, so after leaving the key at reception in the morning, we found the room cleaned by lunchtime. The train station was visible from our windows, but it only bothered us in the morning. Ants were the one real nuisance. They didn’t get onto the beds, but they were unpleasant. We arrived at night and had to knock for about 5 minutes before the door opened, although check-in itself was quick afterward.

We booked an all-inclusive package through Biblio Globus for 74,100 rubles for two people for three days, including flights, transfers, and three buffet meals a day. The 42 km ride from the airport took more than four hours, but that was not the main problem. We arrived at 11:20 PM and apparently weren’t expected. There was no room for us. The administrator and owner said furniture and mattresses had not arrived and promised everything would be ready by 10 AM, which was hard to believe after 13 hours of travel. They sent us for breakfast and placed us in the neighboring house with a relative. The landlady kept trying to put us in a strange room or storage space at the far end of the yard. We insisted on another room, which was slightly better, but it had no shower and no toilet. The air conditioner was present but didn’t work. There was one shared shower for an unknown number of rooms, and of the two toilets, one had no electricity. At 8:40 AM, during the 8:00 to 10:00 breakfast period, there was only buckwheat, bread, and tea, so I got up and left. At 10:00 they still wouldn’t let us into our assigned room and told us to return later. When we came back, the room was cleaned in front of us. For the whole stay, we received one bar of soap and one sample of shower gel. Lunch and dinner were similar. Arriving when service opened meant fighting through the crowd and waiting for clean dishes. Coming later was a gamble. In Sukhum, Abkhazia, we stayed at a two-star hotel a couple of months earlier where the food was six times more varied despite fewer guests. Here, if I counted correctly, there are 32 rooms with an average of 2-3 people each, but only 10 dining tables, one seating 4 people, for 40 places total. There aren’t enough staff, and they live there without shift changes. The room itself was furnished adequately and had what we needed apart from toiletries. Flowers cover almost everything in the house, seemingly to hide the service and property’s flaws. We spoke to the owner, who apologized and asked me not to post a review in exchange for a trip to Lake Ritsa. No thanks. I’m for the truth. I won’t return, and it seems I’ll also have to part ways with my Biblio Globus.
