Sunrise Garden 3*+

The attentive staff made a good impression, and the sea is nearby. Getting to the promenade is a little awkward, but it didn’t spoil the holiday. The food is very good for a 3-star hotel. When ordered at the hotel, lunch is both tastier and cheaper than at the nearby restaurants, around 800 rubles per person. I recommend it.

This cozy little hotel stands at the entrance to Gagra. I stayed there in November, when breakfast was fairly standard, and the pool was heated. I liked everything, especially the friendly staff, and would recommend the place.

Sunrise Garden is clean, well cared for, and has excellent service. The staff are attentive, the pool is heated, and its water is cleaned and refreshed daily. There’s a private beach with plenty of free sun loungers and umbrellas, plus beach towels in the rooms. Meals include buffet breakfast and dinner, along with a set lunch of soup, a second course, salad, and compote. Portions are generous. The restaurant staff clear plates immediately and politely ask first. When we ran out of napkins, the waiter apologized and brought more almost instantly. Our room had Wi-Fi, a working hairdryer, and water was always available from the cooler on the ground floor. A kettle can be requested, while the iron and ironing board are on the floor above. Wi-Fi works throughout the hotel. We really enjoyed staying here and will definitely return.

The beach and park were both close, which was very convenient. My husband and I were also impressed by how organized everything was. Our comfortable room was cleaned daily, the staff were welcoming, and the food was varied enough that we even ate lunch at the hotel. For a 3-star property, it was simply fantastic.
