This is a modest but genuinely decent place if what you want is sun, sea, and a small village atmosphere rather than a busy coastal scene. The beach and sea are typical of the Abkhazian coast. Our hosts were warm and welcoming, the food was prepared with care, cleaning and linen changes were done daily, and the atmosphere was pleasant. We are grateful for their friendly attitude throughout our stay. Thank you.

From September 8th to 19th, my wife and I stayed in this quiet place and came away very happy. The rooms were clean and well equipped, there was parking, and the tidy garden gave the children room to play and relax. The pebble beach is only a 3-4-minute walk away. Mramza's cooking deserves special mention. The food was varied and delicious, so guests should consider ordering lunch and dinner as well as breakfast, if possible and desired. The warmth and hospitality made us feel as though we were visiting family. Many thanks to Mramza and Nala.

We first visited Abkhazia in July 2022, and although this review is late, the place still deserves it. I chose the accommodation in Gadauta at the "Siyaniye Solntsa" (Shine of the Sun) after reading reviews, and they were accurate. The sea was three minutes away, the rooms were clean and cleaned daily, and everything was within walking distance. Naala quickly handled any questions. Mramza's mother cooked delicious food that felt homemade, and Mramza herself gave everyone plenty of warmth and attention. We traveled with our eight-month-old, Tayusha, and they even provided a crib. It wasn't really a relaxing holiday with a baby, but it worked out. If you can travel without children, that would be better for resting and enjoying Abkhazia's beauty.

The best part of our two-week stay was simply eating at the guesthouse. After a few days of visiting cafes, we chose Mama Mramza's food for the rest of the trip. She cooks delicious, varied meals with great care, including French-style meat, chicken in walnut sauce, stuffed peppers, trout, and much more. Preferences are considered, whether someone avoids potatoes or pork, dislikes spicy food, or wants Abkhazian dishes. The coffee is wonderfully aromatic, and the wine is excellent. A shared kitchen is also available with a microwave, stove, grill, barbecue, and refrigerator, plus a private refrigerator in the room. The hosts, Mama Mramza and daughter Naala, showed every guest remarkable warmth and attention. The rooms had everything needed, and the cleanliness was impressive, even on top of the tall wardrobe near the ceiling. A bathroom shelf would have been useful, though. The buildings look like light wooden towers and the walls are not thick, but this did not spoil the stay. The setting is peaceful, away from central Gudauta and its crowds. There are open beaches and clear sea, with mountains in the distance. Nearby beaches are about 3 minutes away and have canvas umbrellas or awnings, while the neighboring beach has wicker cattail umbrellas. A sun lounger costs 100 rubles and there are not many people. For more facilities, the small park and city beach are a 7-minute walk away, with loungers costing 200 rubles. The central Gudauta embankment has a large park and two expensive restaurants. Hosts can call a taxi for 150 rubles anywhere in the city, and they often drive guests themselves. Excursions and massages can also be arranged, with prices pleasantly different from Moscow. It felt like staying at a family dacha by the sea, and saying goodbye to this magical holiday was difficult.
