Svetlyj Put' Apsny

I stayed here twice in 2025, for a week at the end of March and another week at the end of September. The friendly staff and city location were good points, but the hotel feels more suitable for business travel. The photos are nothing like the real place. Things are worn out and breaking, and even the curtains are torn. The beach was dirty.

Our balcony room looked out toward the sea on one side and the mountains on the other, with a table and chairs outside. The two beds were pushed together, so it worked as a king-size bed. The room had air conditioning, a TV, refrigerator, hair dryer, and safe. Water ran continuously, and Wi-Fi was available. The staff were friendly.

The sea is only 100 meters away, with a pebble beach and very clear water. There are cafes, a canteen, a souvenir shop, and several grocery stores close by. The hotel itself is clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the staff are very friendly. It stays open around the clock. The room air conditioner is almost silent and works very well. There is an iron on the floor, meals can be ordered, and the Wi-Fi is fast.

The staff made the hotel a decent place, and they even parked our car free of charge. They advised us to eat there, but we ignored them. That was a mistake. We got food poisoning at a seaside cafe, leaving us with unpleasant memories of our holiday in Abkhazia. It could have been a very different experience.
