The place smelled old and damp, and the food was ordinary, with no choice, and gave me heartburn. We had booked two nights but could barely last one. When we asked to cancel the second night, they refused, then said there might be scorpions and snakes. They admitted there was a cafe behind the fence with loud music from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM, but nobody warned us. The so-called cottage was really half a barn, with cracks and holes straight through the walls and frames. Spiders, a snail in the toilet, moths, and all kinds of gnats were everywhere. Of the three air conditioners, one didn't work, one didn't blow air, and the last was noisy. I wouldn't stay there even for free.

This is a village a few kilometers from Pitsunda. Past the "state dacha" there is a clean pebble beach, and shops and cafes are available. Finding somewhere to stay is easy, with rooms for rent at practically every gate. There are also MANY accommodation choices for the "wild" tourist, so you have everything needed for a relaxing holiday.

The sea is nice, fortunately, but the village itself is incredibly dirty. The guesthouses are often awful, and there are no card payment terminals.

The beach is super, really huge. Pine trees stand right along it, so you can get out of the sun when the heat is strong. The water is crystal clear.
