Sali Guest house

We stayed in June 2025. The sea is about five minutes away, with a great beach nearby, and the coast or the pine park makes a nice place for an evening walk. The rooms are soundproofed and cleaned every day. The food is delicious, too. A good hotel.

Apsara won us over. We stayed there from August 30th to September 7th, 2024, and loved the spacious room, which had a large bed, sofa, TV, hairdryer, and air conditioning. Cleaning was done daily, with sheets and towels changed every three days. The staff were very friendly, and the cafeteria food was fantastic. The clean sea and the beach, reached by a three-minute walk through a pine grove, made it feel like the best beach in all of Pitsunda. We fell in love with Abkhazia and will definitely return to Apsara next year.

The path to the beach runs through ancient pines, and the beach itself is spacious and comfortable, with a natural pine sun deck. It takes only a leisurely 2-minute walk from the hotel. The hotel rooms are fresh, and there are many cafes nearby, which helps because the three daily meals are rather monotonous. The main drawbacks were frequent power outages, probably from the heavy peak-season load, and weak Wi-Fi. Still, it was a great family holiday. Those issues are why I give it 4*.

The location is the one real advantage. The elevator works perfectly and the Wi-Fi is flawless, but the rooms are extremely basic, with only a bar of soap and some shower gel in the bathroom. The towels are very white, though there are no disposable slippers or robes. Food is limited and feels like a basic cafeteria meal. The fish was dry and overcooked one day, and only the oatmeal was reliably okay. Our room faced the dumpster, which was a stinking mountain of trash, despite the manager promising a gorgeous view. Quite a joke.
