Sulemar Hotel

The hotel is right beside the sea and has its own covered sun loungers. Our room had a small refrigerator, kettle, and private balcony, while there is also a cafe and shop on site. The city takes 30-40 minutes to reach on foot. The room has some strange details, including outlets and switches placed behind the headboard, and only three hangers in the closet. The shower is fitted so poorly that water ends up flooding the entire floor.

The view is incredible, with the sea and beach directly outside the balcony. The room had air conditioning, water, and a TV, although the signal disappeared when it was windy. There was no drinking water, and the nearby cafe served repetitive food. A convenience store was in the next building, but prices were not especially low. At least, nobody had digestive problems. Guests have to clean their own rooms and take out their own trash. When we complained, the staff said, "This isn't a five-star hotel." Our single-bed mattress was badly sagging. They promised to replace it, but reviews suggest guests had been asking for the same thing a month earlier. We were told we could find another place if unhappy and would get a refund for unused days, so we accepted that option. Our impression was mixed.

We brought the children for March 8th and had a lovely stay. The hotel is right on a spotless beach, and interesting places can be reached on foot. Everything looked new, clean, and attractive, while the staff were warm and welcoming. Thank you very much.

If you want somewhere without much noise, this place is worth considering. The owner is kind and helpful, and the sea is only 10-20 meters away. New Athos is roughly 2 km from the hotel, about a 20-25-minute walk.
