Guest House Apsilia

For the price, this was the cheapest option we found that included breakfast, and the food was genuinely delicious: porridge, scrambled eggs with vegetables, plus pancakes or fritters. The hotel is set slightly away from the main road, so at night we mostly heard birds. The beach and cafes are still close, and the fairly large Assorti shopping center is walkable, as is the shuttle stop for other cities. The staff were pleasant and friendly, with security and parking available. My only real complaint was that the room had no hairdryer or full-length mirror.

Tucked among ancient pine trees, this guesthouse is only 150 steps from the sea and has just 10 rooms. The rooms include hot and cold water, comfortable beds, heating and cooling through the air conditioning, and a refrigerator. Two other guesthouses are very close by. One has a kitchen downstairs and the other has a cafe, and all three guesthouses share... In high season, a room costs 5,000 rubles and works for two people or children, with beds available.

We only passed by this hotel, but the location looked great. It's peaceful, with the sea and a pine forest nearby, and dolphins were splashing around, so apparently they like it too. The grounds were kept perfectly clean. And there was a handsome, affectionate, talkative cat who happily leads people down to the sea.

The hosts really do their best to make everything perfect, which is definitely a plus. Guests can use a shared hairdryer, shared dishes, and a barbecue area. The surroundings are beautiful, but being in the forest also means there are bedbugs in the room, each about the size of a pinky finger. For me, that's a serious problem, since I'd have to hunt down and kill ten of them before going to bed.
