Delfin Hotel

The Dolphin team made our stay wonderful. When we changed our two-room suite to two one-room suites, they were very accommodating, even though we'd already made a mess in the first room. They didn't charge anything extra, despite my offering to pay for cleaning. The rooms have everything needed, including an iron. There's an on-site cafe with tasty, affordable food, plus a swimming pool. A kitchen would have been useful, but the cafe and barbecue facilities made up for that. Everything was very, very good, and we'll gladly recommend this place.

What stood out was the warm, attentive service, especially from Elena, and the excellent cooking. Breakfast came straight from the stove and kept us full for half the day. The room was comfortable, clean, and regularly serviced, with toiletries and a tea set provided. There was also a pool, a relaxation area, and a barbecue spot. The nearby paid beach, Del Mar, was well maintained and had a good cafe, while a much longer coastline offered a quieter option and very clear water. The center was walkable, and the trolleybus stop was close, with a fare of 5 rubles. We had a wonderful vacation, just as we did on our previous trip, and Sukhum didn't disappoint. We'll come back. Elena at reception was consistently helpful, whether we needed a taxi, directions, or someone to meet and show us around. The place is cozy, with a cafe or dining room downstairs, air conditioning throughout, and a particularly good children's pool. There were periodic power and water outages, though apparently that affects all of Sukhum. Public transport was difficult, so having a car is preferable. On the positive side, the sea was clean, and the waterfront had shops, cafes, music, entertainment, coffee on the sand, and khachapuri at the Nard cafe. Payment was limited to cash or bank transfers, with few places taking cards, but that's common throughout Abkhazia. The natural scenery and the chance to get away from civilization were excellent.

A clean, cozy guesthouse in a quiet and convenient area. Families have a pool and a children's playground on the grounds, and there's a kitchen where breakfast, lunch, or dinner can be ordered. Comfortable place for a family holiday.
