The writing isn't in English, and they don't accept cards. Wi-Fi is weak. On the plus side, the place is clean, quiet, and close to the beach.

My husband and I stayed in June 2025, and the trip was so good that I decided to write my first review. We had a third-floor room with a balcony, and Maya was a polite, welcoming hostess. The cleanliness wasn't perfect by my standards, but we had no real problems. Cleaning and towel changes were available whenever requested, and the staff were happy to help. If you're polite with them, you get politeness and excellent service in return. For such a low price, I've never stayed in a hotel that felt this clean. The cafeteria served inexpensive, delicious food. Breakfast was included, with coffee, tea, omelet, scrambled eggs, porridge, pancakes, and syrniki, two dishes per person plus a drink. We also had lunch there, and a starter and main course for two cost 600-700 rubles. We went to Naartu for dinner. The beach was around 10 minutes away, and sun loungers cost 200 rubles for the day. The central promenade was another 10 minutes from the beach. I prefer small hotels because they have fewer guests and feel more comfortable and cleaner than huge places for 500+ people. Abkhazia offers a different kind of holiday from Turkey, with uncrowded beaches, tasty food, and beautiful views rather than European service. For sea, sun, Sukhumi beer, and local wine for 350 rubles, bought in a bottle from the store, this hotel is a good place to sleep and have a relaxed lunch.

We stayed here in 2022, and I wasn't sure for a long time whether to write this. The refrigerator and kettle were kept in the shared hallway on the floor, and one guest repeatedly lost food and drinks. That seemed funny at first, then became irritating. We were given flowers, but there wasn't even a vase for them. The electricity went off for 2-3 hours every day. We also bought excursions through the hotel and regretted it. The guide was rude, didn't do everything that had been agreed, and didn't refund part of the money. At least the food was delicious and the hotel was quiet.

The room itself was spacious and clean, with mountain views and a neighboring yard where chickens and a rooster could be seen. The hotel is about 15 minutes from the beach and 20 minutes from the city center and main promenade. Meals were available at the Briz Sanatorium cafeteria, a few minutes from the beach, and they were cheap, tasty, and safe. The doors are locked at 12 noon and opened in the morning, which felt secure. However, regular cleaning wasn't provided after check-in, and guests had to take out their own trash. There was no proper mirror, only a small one in the bathroom, and the antenna reception was poor with nowhere higher to place it. The mattress was too soft and caused lower back pain in the morning. Hot water in the shower alternated between hot and cold. A refrigerator and a couple of kettles were available on the floor, though they could be full or in use, meaning sometimes we had to go to another floor. Guests without balconies could dry clothes on the small hallway balcony, which was very convenient. Despite all these details, the stay was pleasant and we had no problems or complaints while there.

This is a small, new, cozy three-story hotel with family rooms and little balconies for drying laundry. Rooms have a large double bed, a single bed for a third guest, a desk with a nightstand, wardrobe, bedside tables, and a bathroom. Two towels are supplied per person. Each floor has a refrigerator and two kettles. The separate dining room serves tasty food at reasonable prices, including national dishes as well as standard ones, and meals are prepared quickly. The owner is very friendly. The MVO sanatorium beach is a leisurely 10-minute walk away, with large pebbles and sun loungers available for an extra fee. Mokko Beach is sandy. The market requires a minibus ride of about 7 minutes, and a ticket costs 30 rubles.
