Ritsa Hotel

We stayed in August 2025. The central location was convenient, with lots of cafes and restaurants and plenty of people walking around in the evening. The problems were serious. The air conditioner leaked and was next to the bed, making it hard to sleep. There were COCKROACHES in rooms on the second floor. Some of the lights didn't work, including in superior rooms, not just economy ones.

The location is good, but the hotel itself was very unpleasant. The furniture is old and partly broken, the walls have dirt and streaks, and the spring mattress made it difficult to sleep. Even by Abkhazia standards, the place was very poor, so I don't understand the 4 and 5 ratings. We had to pay the full amount in advance when booking, and it wasn't refundable. Otherwise, we would have left five minutes after checking in. The photos on Booking.com were completely unlike the actual hotel and misleading during booking. We also received no cleaning at all during our 2-day stay. I wouldn't recommend this place, even for one night.

The location is excellent and the building looks attractive from the outside, but I would never stay at this hotel again. The room was awful, honestly enough to bring tears to your eyes. If you've stayed in other countries and know what hotel service and a good room are like, look for another place. This might work only for completely undemanding tourists who live in a cave. I don't understand who gives this hotel 4 or 5 stars. When a guide picked us up for an excursion, he laughed that we'd chosen this hotel and advised us to move...

The suite was a complete disaster. The toilet and bidet are in separate rooms, so moving between them means crossing both the living room and bedroom. The bedroom has only one table lamp, and the doors between the rooms and to the balcony don't close. Unfortunately, neither the location nor the view from the window makes staying here worthwhile.
