Vesna Hotel

The Seven Wonders of the Country of the Soul tour was unforgettable, with so many beautiful sights along the way. We were delighted with our stay at the Vesna Hotel, which sits right on the seashore in Abkhazia. The staff were excellent, especially Anatoly and Kristina. They were always willing to answer our questions and help. We’ll definitely return.

We stayed at the «Vesna» hotel during our trip to Abkhazia. It’s a pleasant place for a beach holiday, with the sea nearby and a clean, peaceful atmosphere. The «Seven Wonders of the Soul Country» excursion was a highlight. The route was interesting and included scenic locations. Many thanks to Anatoly and Alina for organizing everything and for their attentive attitude. They explained things clearly and helped us find our way around. In general, we had a good impression, and the stay was comfortable and free of unnecessary hassle.

The hotel looks interesting from the outside, but the rooms have no windows. Their glass doors open onto the shared hall, so the curtains need to stay closed. Since the place is in a swamp, mosquitoes are a constant problem and even fumigators don't really help. It’s humid, almost damp, and laundry takes a very long time to dry, even on the rack in the yard. The service itself is excellent. The staff are wonderful, the hotel is clean, and the linens are changed often. Food is another matter. It’s edible, but repetitive, bland, and quickly becomes boring. This definitely isn't a beach-holiday hotel. We were there as part of an excursion trip, so it was bearable. Still, we won't return and won't recommend it.

My parents recommended this hotel after my friends and I spent quite a while looking for somewhere to spend our vacation. They were right about the service. The staff were polite, and we had a wonderful time together.
