Ararat House

We stayed with our children in August 2023, paying 10,000 rubles a day for a two-room suite. The staff were extremely friendly, but the rest left us dissatisfied. Power cuts were constant, so the air conditioning, TV, and already unreliable internet often didn't work. The room had disposable shampoo, though we didn't use it. Cleaning was supposed to happen every three days, yet during our eight-day stay it never happened. The bed linen was not changed either, and by the end it was almost gray, as were the towels, which were impossible to dry with. For that price, I don't think guests should have to chase someone down for basic service. The food was another major problem. The free breakfast never changed, lunch and dinner barely changed, and there were only one or two items. Since the kitchen was closed, we couldn't see the food before it was served. There was no fruit or baking, and the dinner vegetables were poor quality. We left breakfast hungry and bought food at the store until lunch. When we asked for two extra fried eggs and sausage for my husband, we were told we'd already bought too much. On full-day excursions there was no recalculation or food to take away, even though we paid 2,800 rubles for four people. There was no water available in the heat, so we carried 5 liters from the store. The grounds were practically just a parking area and a small playground. We definitely won't return.

My husband, our three children, and I stayed here, and the experience left us with many good memories. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the people are very kind, the sea is close, and there is a large clean pool plus a children's playground with a trampoline. Wi-Fi was decent. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable with crisp white linen, and there was a kettle inside. The dining room could be improved. It was more expensive than the one downstairs, offered fewer dishes, and the presentation was more modest, so we preferred to eat elsewhere. It was my birthday during the stay, and although nothing special was arranged for birthdays, I was okay with that.

The grounds are beautiful, especially the flowers, which are hard to put into words. The hosts are very welcoming, and everything is always clean. The pool is warm and clean too. The food is delicious, although it costs a little more than at the house below.

It feels like coming to visit relatives here. The hosts are so welcoming, and we love everything. There’s a pool, tasty home-cooked food, and the sea is close by. This was my second visit, while my family has stayed here more than three times.
