Hotel Roc del Castell

Excellent!

The location is incredible, but the arrangement for three guests is hard to justify. One person ends up on a sofa bed in the living room, which is open to the kitchen and gives no privacy or real rest, while the sofa bed is also charged as a bed. Nearby places with an actual bed for each guest cost the same or sometimes less.

If your plan is to ski all day and mainly sleep here, it works very well. The location is excellent, ski storage is free, and underground parking is available, though the ramp makes leaving difficult and the parking is not managed very well. Staff are only present in person for limited hours, but the hotel across the street handles the services together and can be reached easily. We found too little kitchenware, and it was somewhat dirty, so everything had to be washed first.

The apartments are clean, warm, and welcoming, with spacious comfortable beds and everything necessary. The area is quiet but close to the centre and ski lift. A nearby car park costs €3 a day and is easy to use. The staff were particularly friendly and helpful.
