Hotel Camel.lot by Nexta

The slopes are practically outside Camel.lot, so the location couldn’t be more convenient for skiing. Our New Year’s Eve there was a lovely surprise, with thoughtful touches such as a goodies bag and the traditional grapes. Adrian, Matias, and Nehemias made the stay especially memorable. They were caring, friendly, and consistently attentive. We had a wonderful time and would gladly return.

Hotel Camel lot made our week-long snowboarding trip easy, with shortcuts to the slopes and a convenient base in Pas de la Casa. The area itself has plenty of lifts, runs, restaurants, and apres options. Every meal was delicious, especially dinner, which had lots of variety and a made-to-order grill station. The staff were exceptionally friendly, with a special mention for Nehemias, and the chefs were excellent. We also enjoyed the board games in the bar and the weekly close-up magic from Jorge.

The restaurant food was very good, especially the pastries, and the staff were lovely. It’s only about a two-minute walk from the slopes, making it a sensible choice when most of your trip is spent skiing. The rooms are small and reasonably clean, though there were stains on the bedroom and bathroom walls. Noise from people leaving the local bars at around 3 a.m. can also be an issue.

The ski locker room opens onto the main street, which makes getting to the slopes especially easy. The location is excellent, and the food and beer are good. Staff were genuinely helpful, and the hotel was clean. The rooms are somewhat small, but the bar area makes up for that. It’s a great place to relax, with board games, pool, and table football.
