The mountains are beautiful and the site is mostly very peaceful. The mini golf and swimming pool are also there, and while both are no frills, they’re okay. I’d mainly see this as a place for mountain bike enthusiasts, perhaps hikers, or people stopping overnight while passing through. I wouldn’t plan to stay for long otherwise. The pitches are small and have no privacy between them. The sanitary block is also very basic, with water left across the floor, taps that don’t shut off, and nowhere to keep clothes or a towel dry while showering. Cleaning seems to mean hosing everything down and leaving it to air dry, and toilet roll isn’t always available. Reception was no frills too. A request for an edge pitch was dismissed even though several were free, and communication was very limited because of the language barrier. There’s no public transport, cycling is very steep, and there are few pavements for walking.

I wouldn’t recommend booking here. They said they had places available, but that turned out not to be true. They don’t speak any English, and although they provide a WhatsApp number for contact, they never reply.

The facilities were very clean and functional, and the staff were friendly. We had a peaceful, enjoyable stay, with well-shaded pitches in a lovely setting.

The location is perfect, the camping spots are good, and the WiFi worked well. The staff were great too, friendly, helpful, and able to speak good English to me. But €52 euros a night for camping is ridiculous. I’d expect much better at that price. The toilet block was warm and clean enough, yet the lighting over the cubicles is basically non-existent, so you can’t see anything while doing your business. There aren’t any toilet seats either, assuming you can even tell where you’re meant to sit. The shower lights timed out after 3 seconds, at least in the cubicle where the light worked. The place generally needs updating. The dishwashing sinks were, at best, lukewarm, and the entry and exit gates were temperamental. Paying absolute top dollar, I don’t expect these problems. Next time I might just get a hotel room and leave the camper in the car park.
