Al Diar Dana Hotel

The large rooms gave all of us plenty of room to settle in, and they were clean and comfortable as well. I stayed here with friends during the Eid vacation, and the hotel suited us perfectly for relaxing and hanging out together. It was a wonderful stay.

I’m visiting again in 2026, and the building is still standing tall and proud in Electra. Back in 2009, it was the landmark beside my office building, and I remember the excellent rooms and great service. I also used to spend weekends at the South Indian bar/restaurant on the M Floor. Seeing the same place again brought back those memories.

The rooms at Al Diar Mina are genuinely spacious, with none of that cramped feeling, and the staff were consistently nice. The hotel is older, but it’s clean and well maintained, so that didn’t really affect my stay. Its location was the biggest advantage because getting around Abu Dhabi from there was very easy.

The location made it easy to move around Abu Dhabi, and the price felt reasonable by Abu Dhabi standards, especially for such a convenient area. We stayed five days at Al Dana while attending an event and were warmly welcomed from the start. The staff were attentive, the room was spacious, clean, organized, and had effective air conditioning. The building’s decor is dated, but it is well maintained and did not hurt the experience. The ground floor restaurant was also well served, with buffet and à la carte choices, and the included breakfast was enough for me. Abu Dhabi itself was a pleasant surprise, with welcoming people, a beautiful city, and good food.
