Al Jazeera Royal Hotel

The best feature of my twin-bed room was its balcony, which had an amazing view of Madinat Zayed Mall. The room itself was a good size, I’d rate it 3/5.

Management showed no real accountability after my belongings were mishandled. I forgot several clothes in the room after checking out, and when I contacted the hotel, I was told housekeeping had thrown them in the garbage instead of placing them in lost and found. Housekeeping also took my personal towel by mistake and said it was being washed and would be returned, but over a month later I still had neither the towel nor an update. There was no proper follow-up or attempt to recover anything. Until the hotel addresses this lack of guest care and professionalism, I cannot recommend staying there.

My stay at Al Jazeera Royal Hotel was extremely disappointing. After losing my room key, I asked for a duplicate. The lady at reception was polite, but a male employee was rude and threatened to charge a large amount without explaining it clearly. Repeated requests for a prayer mat and an iron, including calls through the intercom, were ignored. There was also no hot water in the morning, and nobody took responsibility or helped. The staff conduct was unprofessional and basic facilities were not provided. I do not recommend this hotel.

The room was filled with a lot of noise because the air conditioning machines from other rooms were installed there, and they ran continuously. Reception hardly answered calls, and when I asked for something, I was left waiting for more than an hour. The service was absolutely disgusting, and I would never recommend this place.
