Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental

The buffet had an excellent selection, from fresh salads and Ramadan favorites to main dishes and desserts, and everything was flavorful and well prepared. Dates and drinks arrived right on time for Maghrib, while the attentive staff kept our table supplied. The warm atmosphere made it a lovely place to break the fast with family and friends. Shalu from Emirates Palace Catering gave especially kind and professional service, and the desserts were a highlight.

The EP CLUB lounge package added a very personal touch from the start, and the food there was frankly the best we had in the hotel. Even the on-site Michelin star restaurants didn’t match the sophistication of the EP club offering, in our experience. Breakfast was incredible. Thanks to Koffi and the whole team for being so kind and making us feel special. We’ll be back.

From the moment you enter Emirates Palace, it feels like being in a king’s court, with luxury from around the world all around you. I could have butterfly pea tea from Laos, a pastry made by a French artisan, and an enormous selection of dates. Breakfast was out of this world, and my daughter loved seeing the camels being cared for outside our room in the morning. Although the hotel is huge and full of restaurants and activity, it never felt crowded. The staff were attentive and accommodating throughout.

We came back to Cafe Fountain largely because of the people, especially Deborah and Nikhil. They’re lovely, sweet, and very service minded, and Deborah had made such a positive impression on our previous visit that we talked about her afterward. The iced latte and smoothie were very good. The food was only alright and didn’t impress me much, but the location is excellent for photos and views.
