Marriott Hotel Al Forsan, Abu Dhabi

The breakfast here is easily my favorite among chain hotels in the country. The chefs get really creative, with things like Acai Bowls and Chia Seed puddings, plus an asian corner that changes its menu every day. The executive lounge also serves a great selection during happy hour. The property sits in a quiet neighbourhood, but the city is only about a 10 min drive away. I make a point of staying here whenever I visit AUH.

We came back to Marriott Hotel Al Forsan, Abu Dhabi after a one-week stay last month, because that first visit had been so good. This stay, from Sunday until today, was just as warm and professional. Ms. Kajal Singhal and Ms. Thulasika, Guest Experience Supervisors, showed exceptional care, and their thoughtful gifts for our baby Nilanka made the visit especially memorable. We will miss them and won't forget their kindness. Thank you also to Leandro and Alinda from the launch area; Ronaldo, Avatar Singh, and Amit at breakfast; and Lokendra and Raul for helping with our luggage. Many other team members also made us comfortable. Everyone was attentive, courteous, and ready to help. We highly recommend the hotel and hope to return soon.

The breakfast had a big, fresh selection that was kept filled whether we arrived early or late. The juice bar and confectionery section were the highlights. Kids also have lots of space to play, making this one of the most kid friendly hotels I've stayed in. Our room was spacious and well maintained, with very comfortable beds. The shower was probably the best feature, since its fine mist spray was incredibly soothing. Yas island is around 25mins away by car and the journey is easy. My only issue was the adjoining rooms request. I made it over 1 month ahead because I was travelling with my kids, but at arrival I was told it depended on availability. We ended up 2 rooms apart. Not ideal, though manageable.

The Sunday brunch at the Appallousa restaurant was the highlight of our family stay in November. Kati created such a fun atmosphere, sang every song by heart, and interacted wonderfully with the children. That vibe really made the visit for us. The location was good, and the sports activities were wow. We had a great experience overall and will definitely return. Thank you, Marriott team!
