KHALID H.
The central location is one of the strongest points here. Qasr Al Hosn, Sheikh Zayed First Road, and Masala Restaurant are close, and the nearby bus stop makes getting around easy at AED 2 per ride. Taxis can be expensive and slow because of traffic. Grocery shops nearby also offer free delivery. Milestones Coffee is a useful landmark, though the apartment sign is hard to notice and should be clearer. This is a serviced apartment, not a hotel with lots of extras, so expectations matter. The room size is decent, but parking is a serious problem for drivers. In humid weather, water comes from the AC duct because of moisture leakage. The apartment comes with a one-time welcome kit of water, tea, and coffee. After the first day, guests need to provide their own. Cleaning happens three times weekly, and the kitchen has only one pan, one pot, two plates, and two glasses. Furniture is average and practical, hangers are limited, conditioner is not supplied, and the shampoo and lotion are low quality. The bath tub was leaking and needs improvement. The door was also difficult to open because the batteries were weak. I had to visit reception several times before maintenance fixed it. Saeeda and Adil at reception were always helpful. There is a pool on the R floor, but its 12:00-16:00 hours overlap with normal working times and should be explained at check-in. The locked back door to the nearby masjid is inconvenient for guests going to prayers. Better signage, communication, access, and basic maintenance would make this a much better stay.
