Ramee Rose Hotel Apartments

The studio and 1 bhk apartments are good, and the staff are very cooperative.

The hotel facilities need an upgrade. Everything is usable, but a lot of it has become old, rough, and uncomfortable, as if the property is short on investment. The mattress is awful, and the dining chairs feel dangerous to sit on. The location used to be great, but construction now covers the area and creates noise during the day. The staff are the bright spot here, they’re really good.

The clean apartments and helpful staff make this a good option for a business trip. There’s a swimming pool on the roof, while the last floor has a sauna, steam room, and gym. Noise can be an issue because some guests aren’t quiet. It can also be difficult to explain to a taxi driver exactly which Ramee hotel you need.

The central location works well, especially with spacious one bed apartments and reasonable rates. There are many small eateries nearby, plus a Baqala and a supermarket in the next building and opposite the Hotel. Staff are polite, housekeeping is prompt, and the linen is clean. There are several drawbacks. The top floors are noisy, and some lights and bathroom fixtures were broken. Maintenance can take 3 to 4 days to fix problems, even for long term customers. Friends in other rooms mentioned bugs in the bed, which pest control eventually handled after repeated complaints. I didn’t experience that myself. The restaurant has been under renovation for the past 1.5 yrs, although they never say it’s closed. In the studio appartment, WiFi only catches a network near the toilet door.
