Southern Sun Abu Dhabi Hotel

Being stranded in Abu Dhabi for 9 days because of the war was difficult, but staying at Southern Sun hotel made the situation much easier. The staff were consistently patient, cheerful, and helpful, and their attitude and service were amazing. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Towels and water were provided even when we hadn’t asked for them, and the food was both very good and varied. The hotel is centrally located, with shops, laundry services, and restaurants within a 5-minute walk. Taxis were always available right outside the entrance. Bravo to Southern Sun hotel!

Harish made the food experience especially good. He paid close attention to every guest, and when someone had an allergy, he carefully explained which dishes were safe and checked that the person knew what each dish contained. His care and service made my stay feel very good. The room was nice, the service was great, and the food was very good. The hotel staff in general were friendly and genuinely interested in providing good service. The room colours can feel a little dark if you stay for a few days. The door tickets also kept stopping working, though reception replaced them for free each time, so it wasn’t a major issue. Very recommended overall.

Breakfast was the highlight of our 4-day stay. Every morning offered fresh fruit, pastries, hot dishes, made-to-order eggs, cereals, yogurt, cheeses, and local specialties. There was something for everyone, and it was all delicious and well presented, so we looked forward to it each day. The room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable, with a great bed and reliable temperature control. Check-in was quick, and the staff were friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The location was also ideal for the places we wanted to explore. Everything felt high-quality while the atmosphere stayed relaxed. We left refreshed and would definitely return. One of the best hotel experiences we’ve had.

We usually write reviews when a place gets something wrong, but this hotel deserves one because they did an AWESOME job. Their customer service was excellent, and they responded quickly whenever we had an issue. Check-in was smooth and easy. One of our rooms smelled of paint, so we asked to move, and they quickly arranged another room. Anything we requested from reception arrived RIGHT away. The amenities, ambiance, and location were great as well. Thanks to the team for being so efficient. I hope they keep this standard, because hotels sometimes really lack this kind of customer service.
