Oryx hotel looked after our very large school group remarkably well. I was there for three days with 11 colleagues and more than 100 students, and the staff gave each of us focused, individual attention. Their service-minded attitude, kindness, generosity, and professionalism made me feel very comfortable. The meals were luxurious and offered plenty of variety. As a vegetarian, I especially appreciated that head chef Mr Sushil prepared delicious vegetarian dishes just for me, giving me as many choices as everyone else. Mr Sushil, Mr Anand, Mr Mina, and Mr Samay all made sure I was properly looked after, even though I never had to ask. Their timely service and care made me feel truly special. They went beyond their normal duties, and it showed. This was my third visit to Oryx, and I’ll be back again. Thank you 🙏

The best part of this hotel is easily the scenery from Jebel Hafeet, especially the desert and city views at sunset. It feels peaceful and far removed from the noise of the city, with a cooler mountain climate that suits a relaxing staycation. Families have plenty to do, including three pools with water slides, mini-golf, and a kids’ club. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff were exceptionally welcoming and attentive. Some parts of the property do look a little dated, but the overall mountain escape was incredible.

Room 413 was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, so I had a genuinely relaxing stay at Oryx Grand Hotel. Mr Hamid deserves special recognition for being courteous, attentive, professional, and always ready to help. The entire team provided warm hospitality. I enjoyed my visit and would happily recommend the hotel.

The peaceful atmosphere created by the mountain-top setting was one of the best parts of our visit to Oryx Grand Hotel Jebel Hafeet. The views were breathtaking, and the warm hospitality made the stay memorable from the moment we arrived. Bimika was especially kind, attentive, and pleasant while assisting us. This is a great choice for a relaxing staycation or a special getaway, with good food and welcoming service.

The mountain location made the restaurant prices feel reasonable, and the food was fine overall. I especially liked the bread and the egg station at breakfast. The pool and playground were also enjoyable, and I appreciated that the pool’s pH level is checked daily. Our room was clean and had a balcony, although the stained curtains showed that some areas needed more attention. The hotel is a bit old, but the prices are affordable, so this wasn’t a major problem for us. At check-in, we were upgraded because our booked room had two separated single beds. Getting there was inconvenient because there’s no public transport apart from taxis. We arranged a car lift in advance, paid around 70 AED, and gave the driver 100 AED because he was very nice. We stayed three days and two nights, had a wonderful time in the pleasant weather, and found Oryx Hotel good value for money.
