Pura Eco Retreat Jebel Hafit Desert Park

The views around Jabel Hafeet are beautiful, and the dome itself was nice. Having a private pool also made the stay more enjoyable. Still, the experience didn’t quite justify the price because the service and setup needed to be better. Reaching the tents and suites means driving a long way along a desert road. It may be difficult for sedan cars if you aren’t prepared, although staff guide you with a car in front. Dining was my biggest concern. The outdoor area was too sandy and windy to sit comfortably, and there wasn’t a proper indoor dining space. Even breakfast became inconvenient because there wasn’t enough room to sit and eat properly. A covered outdoor area would let guests enjoy the surroundings much more comfortably. The place has potential and excellent views, but it didn’t fully match what we paid.

Pura Eco Retreat Jebel Hafit Desert Park has been a wonderful escape for us over the past few months. The peaceful setting at the foot of Jebel Hafeet makes it easy to disconnect from the city, and our Deluxe accommodation was excellent. The private fire pit at night was a lovely extra. The people made the stays especially memorable. Thank you to Dua, Narcer, and Adil at reception, Erik and his lovely restaurant and kitchen crew, Richard and his cleaning team, Adip, Pradip, and all the drivers and staff we may have missed. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast had lots of choice and was very good, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. We’ll definitely return when the temperatures drop again.

The setting beneath the mountains made our dinner at Puro Resort feel especially memorable, and the staff’s hospitality added even more to the evening. Ali, Umair, Erik, and Narisho were warm, attentive, friendly, and professional from start to finish. We especially enjoyed the flavorful Asian Quinoa Salad and Emirati Macaroni Pasta, both prepared with care. The freshly made tiramisu was a lovely way to finish. Great food, a beautiful atmosphere, and outstanding service. Highly recommended!

The breakfast was really, really good, and Eric did an excellent job making sure all our requests were handled. Dinner was a DIY BBQ, with everything provided and only the grilling left for us. The meat was wonderfully marinated and tasted amazing. It’s a great weekend escape, about two hours from Dubai. Our room was spacious and had a separate bathroom. We’ll definitely return in winter to try one of the hiking paths.
