City Plaza Hotel by OYO Rooms

The loud music continued all night and made it impossible to rest. I contacted reception several times, but nothing was done to reduce the noise, which seriously affected the comfort and quality of my stay. Check-in was disappointing too. The reception staff were unprofessional and unhelpful, and the overall service fell short of basic hospitality standards. I expected better management and care for guests.

Sleep was impossible here. Music from the nightclub stayed loud all night and could be heard from every floor. On top of that, there were noisy and drunk people around, the rooms were dirty and poorly maintained, and the staff were rude. A horrible hotel experience. Never again.

The wall outlets were so difficult to locate that I had to move the bed to reach them. That was frustrating, but the most serious issue was having my passport confiscated, something I had never experienced at a hotel before. I was on the 3rd floor and don't know where the nightclub was, yet from midnight until 4 AM I could hear a drum kit playing nonstop. If zero stars were possible, I would give them.

What made the stay especially upsetting was that my Emirates Id was held by the hotel and only given back at checkout. The room itself was uncomfortable, with a heavy smoke smell that made it feel suffocating, and I even found a cockroach on the bed. Thin walls also meant hearing noise from other rooms. A very disappointing experience.
