The location is a strong point, but the property feels old and seems not to have been updated for a long time. Management should renovate it and take customers’ feedback and comfort more seriously.

The restaurant was nicely prepared, with very good staff and highly professional service. The food quality was incredible, and the value for money was perfect.

The hotel has changed its name to Arabian Palace Hotel. If you’re visiting BAPS Hindu Temple, it’s the best place to stay.

The employees were professional, dedicated, and clever, so this rating isn’t about the service I received from them. It isn’t aimed at the manager either, who can only do so much with the resources available. The responsibility belongs to the owners. Charging 600 Dirham more per night, without breakfast, for these facilities is hard to understand. The problems were obvious: breakfast came with literally hard eggs, beans, and bread. Internet access wasn’t available in the room one evening because the bandwidth was saturated. The shower water was only warm, not hot. It reminded me of some Chinese hotels 5 years ago. There were still a few good points. The fridge worked, the bed and sheets were comfortable, the room was spacious, and the laundry service was efficient. But for a business traveller staying not less than nine nights, too many things were missed. The rooms are large enough to turn two into one. Reconfiguring half of the building that way might also let the owners accommodate more people.
