Royalton Hotel Dubai

The location is nice, but I wouldn't recommend the hotel. During my week there, the room had cockroaches and nobody emptied my trash can. After check-in, I also started receiving private WhatsApp messages from unknown people. In the evening, a noisy nightclub with extra services (s..) operated next to reception, something I hadn't seen listed on Booking.com. At reception, they copied my passport and then didn't want to give it back. I was disappointed, but had little choice but to stay. I can finally leave my opinion here because Booking.com had disabled the rating button. :-)

The bar was the best part for me. It had a lively atmosphere, good music, a nice range of drinks, and friendly, quick staff. It was an enjoyable place to unwind after a long day. Check-in was smooth and the staff were helpful. Royalton Hotel is affordable and suited to a short stay when you want somewhere comfortable without spending much. The rooms are clean and well maintained, though a little cramped if you like open space. The quality is decent for the price, but a roomier layout would make it more comfortable. Even with the compact rooms, I'd recommend it for an economical stay with a good bar.

The main drawback was noise from the hotel's bar. The TV was there, but none of its channels worked, and the wall-mounted hairdryer was broken. Smoking was allowed in the room. Still, the room was clean and had cold air-conditioning, a private bathroom, small fridge, wardrobe, dressing table, and white lighting. For the price and facilities, I think it's better than a hostel, especially since you don't have to share a bathroom with dozens of people.

I couldn't sleep all night. The bedsheets were extremely dirty, there was no AC, and they didn't provide water either. The room was a mess and nowhere near clean. I can't imagine a hotel in Dubai being kept like this. If you're after a horror house, come here.
