Admiral Plaza Hotel Dubai

We had two double rooms at Admiral Plaza Hotel, both spacious, very clean, and fully equipped. The rooms were well maintained, and the stay was pleasant. I also liked the à la carte restaurant, where you could order from the menu even at night. The food was decent, and for a 3-star hotel, Admiral Plaza does a pretty great job. Kudos!

The main strength of Admiral Plaza Hotel Dubai is its people. From check-in onward, the staff were humble, polite, patient, and genuinely helpful, and housekeeping and front desk assistance were smooth and dependable. The location is also convenient for nearby markets and city attractions. The problem is the hotel itself. Rooms are functional but dated, with worn furniture, fittings, and interiors, while the common areas also need newer decor and maintenance. It works for travelers who value friendly service and location, but anyone wanting modern rooms or premium comfort may be disappointed. Renovation would make a big difference.

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable, but it looked more like a student flat than a hotel room. The rooms are very old and small, with thin walls, and urgently need renovation. Getting there from the airport takes a long time. They offer an airport ride on request, but it costs 250 aed.

My parents felt safe and welcome at Admiral Plaza Hotel, and the clean, comfortable room and helpful staff made the stay pleasant. Check-in and check-out were easy, and the location worked well. There was just one billing issue: the booking listed the tourism fee as USD 21.76, but the hotel charged my parents USD 30. It isn’t a major problem, though matching the booking amount would prevent confusion. We’re happy with the stay and would recommend Admiral Plaza Hotel.
