Arabian Courtyard Hotel & Spa

Coming back to Arabian Courtyard Hotel & Spa recently was lovely. I first stayed there in 2011, and it still has the same charm, comfort, and quality of service. The staff are welcoming and attentive, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere remains warm and authentic. It's rare to find that kind of consistency over the years. Most of the local Dubai attractions you'd want are very close. Breakfast was at the same level as when I tried it some 16 years back. Highly recommended, and truly deserves 5 stars.

Room cleanliness and upkeep were major problems during our five nights with family. I asked for cleaning multiple times, 2-4 times a day, but housekeeping was delayed or the work wasn't done properly. Maintenance and service standards were far below expectations. Management was poor, and the reception staff, especially Roshan, were rude and unprofessional. Their attitude and way of speaking to guests were unacceptable. The reception team needs proper customer service training. With service and cleanliness like this, I would never stay here again and wouldn't recommend it for a comfortable family stay.

The staff were so welcoming and attentive, and Mr. Usman Khan deserves a special mention for all his help. We had one of our best family weekends here and will definitely return. It's a superb spot for exploring Old Dubai. Breakfast was great too, with an amazing view of the Al Fahidi Fort.

Our early check-in request was the low point. We arrived at around 11 AM after spending the whole night at the airport, with my spouse and small child, and really needed to freshen up. Staff refused even though rooms were available. We then waited in the lobby for over an hour before being assigned a room. It felt inconsiderate, given our situation. The rooms were clean and well maintained, and the location was excellent with markets nearby. Everything else was fine, but customer service and flexibility could be better.
