Avari Al Barsha Apartment Hotel

I’ve lived here with friends for more than 3 months. Then the washroom started leaking and the sink fell. We told the building staff right away, but 3 weeks have passed and nothing has changed. Using the washroom every day is a struggle, and they keep saying they’ll fix it tomorrow. Very poor management.

Vay, hAppy Alex, good.

The central air conditioning in our room had no heating option. We didn’t expect to need one in Dubai, but during a night of very heavy rain we found ourselves worrying that the little ones might catch a cold. The location worked well for us, since being in the middle of Dubai meant nowhere felt too far. Mall of Emirates was hardly a 10 minute walk away, and the Big bus and metro station nearby made it cheap to get around. The room and apartment hotel appliances were well maintained and suited our family with two small children. Staff were super friendly and helpful too.

I liked the apartment hotel for its space and the complete kitchen setup. But there wasn’t a kitchen towel for cooking or washing dishes. I used one of their towels, and they charged me 30 dirhams, saying the mark was a stain. It wasn’t a stain, just water from the hotdog. I was really mad, but didn’t argue with them because I felt cheap doing that.
