Best Western Premier M Four Hotel

I was happy with the room. It was spacious, clean, and very well organized, and I loved it. The problems began with the hotel's visitor and parking policies. I booked 2 rooms for myself and my friend, travelling together from fujeirah to meet our friends in Dubai during the holidays. When our friends wanted to visit, they weren't allowed in without a 100 dirham charge per visit, even though they wouldn't stay. Meeting those friends was the reason I booked 2 rooms, and I wasn't aware of this policy or the 100 dirham charge per person. There is also no free parking for travellers. The hotel charges 30 dirham per car.

We checked in at 2:30pm and found that there was no AC. Before leaving to eat at around 4:30pm, we told reception, and he said maintenance would arrive in 30mins. When we returned around 7pm, there was still no AC, and they said it would take within 1hour. My partner went out to explore, so we left again. At about 9pm, reception said maintenance had been called and that fixing the AC would take another 1-1½ hour. The service here is all lies. We were sweating in the room, and I hope others don't have to experience this.

The location was convenient, about 10 minutes from Al Rigga metro station, with cabs easily available. A restaurant was a five-minute walk away, and Carrefour was around 10 minutes from the hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean, with daily housekeeping. The only real problem was that the flush wasn't working properly. Apart from that, our stay was good, and I highly recommend the hotel.

The only positives were the fast wi-fi and the easy access to the metro and mall. Everything else was terrible. The room was full of cockroaches, not just a few but a TON of them. Front desk tried to say it was because it’s winter. The insects were mainly around the coffee and fridge station, and after we left our coffee for a couple of hours, 4 cockroaches were floating in it. The room also clearly wasn't being sanitized properly. Cockroach eggs were visible in the corners, the wall was dusty, and it looked like staff only haphazardly wiped the obvious dirty spots. We all developed allergies, and there was lots of mold in the bathroom. During our 5 day stay, the sheets were never changed. I know because the black marks on my pillow remained for all 5 days.
