Dubai Mall is about a seven-minute walk away, with the Boulevard and Water Canal nearby. The building is family-friendly and well looked after, with security around the clock. There’s a lot on site: swimming pools, a gym, sauna, barbecue area, and an outdoor kids’ play area on Level 1. Burj Views West (Tower A) also has a games room and an indoor playroom.

We’ve been struggling with maintenance several times, and now we can’t get any work done because of security. Even with a work permit, they won’t let you in, especially the people handling permits. Don’t rent an apartment in this building, because the maintenance team won’t be able to come.

We stayed for 10 days at Hotel Burj View Tower C under the name Zoha Sayyed. At checkout, no one came to help with our 10 bags or even brought a trolley. The receptionist, Ronald, just sat there staring. Management was not cooperative at all. We asked to leave our bags for an hour because check-in at our next hotel wasn’t until 2, but he simply refused with a poker face. The attitude was awful. I don’t think I’d ever stay here again or recommend it to friends.

The Burj Khalifa isn’t visible from here because another building is right in front of it, and the location is bad. The AC is hot, and management doesn’t seem to care. They’re idiots who don’t respect guests.
