Two clinics and grocery stores are right in front of the building, and the huge Silicon Central mall is coming up beside it. It’s also a great spot for pet lovers, with easy access to Al Ain Road or E311.

Be careful moving into flat 811 if you’re dealing with agent Sayed Tahir. Once he gets his commission, he doesn’t seem to care about the problems you run into. There are lots of issues in the flat, and the products inside are poor quality. After moving in, you may end up replacing everything from bulbs to taps when they stop working after a few months. The agent won’t help with maintenance, calling these things minor, and we ended up paying 1000 AED for that kind of work. Keeping pigeons away is also unavoidable and unsuccessful.

For AED 22k a year, the studios are a bargain. The corridors are the most spacious and cozy I’ve seen in this price range.
