E-Stay Hotel

The hotel’s cleanliness was poor throughout its amenities, and for the price and location the service and hygiene were far below an acceptable standard. It felt more like a boarding school than a hotel, and I would not let family or friends stay here. Staff were impolite and unprofessional. They insisted my guests had to leave at 10 PM, saying visiting hours ran from 10 AM to 10 PM and guests could not be in the lobby or rooms outside those hours. When we tried to discuss it, their explanations kept changing and they would not listen. The front desk assistant refused to hear us out and said my guests had to leave immediately. After they left, other people were still sitting in the same area, eating and talking without any problem. The rules did not seem to be applied equally, which felt unfair and unprofessional. It was a very disappointing stay, and I absolutely don’t recommend this hotel. It isn’t worth your money or peace of mind.

We stayed at Estay Hotel from 12 May to 16 May and had a comfortable, pleasant time. The restaurant was available, and being allowed to order outside food was convenient. The amenities were good, including the pool, gym and a simple play area for kids near the pool. There were different timings on weekdays and weekends, plus ladies-only hours, which was a nice addition.

At 1:00 a.m., the receptionist kept knocking and calling my room phone even though I had a Do Not Disturb sign on the door. It was intrusive and disrespectful. I understand this is a 3-star hotel, but that does not excuse ignoring basic hospitality or treating guests without respect. I don’t recommend it. Earlier that night I returned from work and asked about my laundry. The Moroccan receptionist Miss said she would check, but after I waited over an hour, she said it could not be found, even though it had been sitting at reception all day. I was told to come down and search for it myself, which was embarrassing and unprofessional. She also spoke rudely to me in front of other guests, saying she could not give me a room card because I was “supposed to pay,” despite our earlier agreement. That morning, I had clearly told reception I would extend my stay for at least another week, possibly a month, and would pay later that day or the next morning. They confirmed this. While we were discussing my missing clothes, which was not even the main problem, the details of the work seemed to get no attention.

I stayed here with my family, which made the poor experience all the more disappointing. Reception service was extremely unsatisfactory, and the room cleaning fell short of professional hospitality standards. Staff were repeatedly rude in their replies, while the hotel attendant tried to justify their behavior instead of addressing it. Management said they would respond to the complaints later. Based on what we experienced, though, they seem disconnected from the actual conditions at the hotel. It offers no value for money and fails to meet basic service expectations. I cannot recommend it.
