I still regret staying here, even though it was just one night. The room reeked of cigarettes, like an ashtray, and the rug was dirty. There were stains all over the bed covers. If my flight hadn’t been delayed, I wouldn’t have had this experience.
If zero stars were an option, I’d give that. Building management is the worst. There’s no maintenance, no security and no sense of safety, and the building stinks inside and out. The cleaner uses a smelly mop in the common areas, leaving a bad smell and flies everywhere. The management are thieves. These Pakistani, illiterate, unprofessional people charge and cheat you on everything. My strongest advice is never to rent here. The owner should throw them out.
The spa felt fake and unprofessional, and the massage didn’t seem authentic. They quote 250 dhs for the service, then the girl starts massaging you and asks for 500dhs for improper stuff. That’s 750 dhs altogether for nothing.
After visiting Deira City Center Mall, I found these Apartments for a two-week stay in Dubai. They’re right across from the mall and close to the metro, so getting around the city is easy. Compared with other hotels nearby, the price is much better. The Apartments are serviced, clean, bright and spacious, and include free parking and wifi.
The Grand Hotel apartment branding and the Hotel apt name digits were not mentioned.
