Grand Kingsgate Waterfront By Millennium Hotel

This wasn’t my original hotel for my Dubai holiday. I ended up here after flights were cancelled last week, Saturday 28/02. I was out much of the time and had no problems with the hotel. The room had air conditioning, reliable WiFi, shower products and a TV I didn’t use. Breakfast was free; I only ate there once, but the buffet choices were fine. I won’t forget the staff who helped sort out my flights home, or the cleaning team who brought me water bottles and toilet rolls. If I return to Dubai, I’ll consider staying here again.

Customer service here didn’t meet even basic expectations. The communication felt disrespectful, and the hospitality wasn’t professional. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you value being treated properly. There are plenty of other places with much better service.

The hygiene and management were unacceptable, and the stay was exhausting from the start. I was assigned the wrong room despite clearly explaining what I’d requested. I even offered to pay more if needed. The manager, Charlton, didn’t seem interested in listening or helping, and was rude and dismissive when I tried to explain calmly. At one point he refused to give me my room card. After waiting over TWO HOURS, I finally got a room, but it was dirty. There was visible hair from a man on the bedsheets, making it clear the room hadn’t been cleaned or changed. Nobody apologized, took responsibility or properly tried to fix things. The delays and lack of care ruined my plans and left me humiliated and exhausted. Average rooms are one thing, but management and cleanliness like this are unacceptable. I strongly do NOT recommend this hotel to anyone expecting basic respect, hygiene or professional treatment. Until management is replaced and cleanliness is taken seriously, this place should be avoided.

I’ve been here a few times because it’s close to my work. It’s a nice place to visit, and a short stroll gets you to the shopping. I recommend it. I’ve seen reviews about “bad hygine,” but this place is neat and clean. I’m not sure which hotel they’re talking about. P.S: the hotel entrance is tricky :) watch fir the mini service road
