Hues Boutique Hotel

Good :) It was a nice hotel for the money, with what we needed nearby. Since I was there with family, the INDIAN lady at reception arranged a room away from the pub noise without me even asking. Bad :( There was no parking for guests. The building did have basement parking, but it had been leased to a third party, so we had to arrange it with them and pay 60 DHS for 3 days. In the morning, other cars sometimes blocked us when we wanted to leave, though the parking guy was helpful. It was inconvenient and annoying. I understand space or location might make parking difficult, but in my view hotels should reserve parking for in-house guests when they can.

The smell in the room was like sewage, so strong that it was hard to relax or sleep. The curtains were broken, the television didn’t work, and the room didn’t seem properly maintained. The spa, jacuzzi, and sauna were advertised as free, but each came with an extra charge. The breakfast was poor quality and disgusting, and the cleanliness was among the worst I’ve seen. The rooms were dirty, facilities were badly maintained, and there seemed to be no attention to hygiene. This is by far the worst hotel I’ve stayed at in Dubai. It doesn’t deserve a single dirham or even one star. I strongly warn people not to stay here, and to save their money and pick somewhere else.

We didn’t enjoy our stay at all. The rooms were dirty, with stains all over the carpet and curtains, and this definitely didn’t feel like a 4-star hotel. There are four nightclubs in the facility, so I wouldn’t recommend staying here with kids. If only they’d clean the place.

Definitely worth every coin. The place was quite clean, and the housekeeping practices deserve congratulations. Sharon was a diligent housekeeper and did a great job 👏.
