Hyatt Regency Dubai & The Galleria Residence

There are plenty of places to eat nearby, and the supermarket downstairs is handy for everyday shopping. The hotel is in a good spot in old Dubai, a five-minute walk from the metro, with daily shuttles to Dubai mall and the beaches. We stayed five nights in a three-bedroom apartment hotel. The apartment was cleaned daily, and the breakfast spread, pool and gym were all excellent.

Having a supermarket right below the residence was a real help for last-minute needs, and the staff were always ready to assist with a warm smile. The apartment was impeccably clean and had everything we needed, including a microwave, induction cooktop, washing machine, iron and ironing board, and dishwasher. It felt like home. Breakfast was a treat, especially the dosa every day. There was a wide range of breads, though most had eggs, which was a bit challenging for us. Apart from that small issue, everything was perfect. We had an amazing stay at the Hyatt Dubai Residence Apartment Galleria and would love to return. A great Dubai option for comfort and convenience, with excellent service.

I arrived tired after a long trip and was met with a very cold, unwelcoming reception. The hotel also felt quite far from everything, which made the stay less convenient. The bellman was very late with my luggage, and the reception team was slow to respond. When I asked for a blanket, they gave me one that clearly looked used and smelled of vomit. That’s unacceptable in any hotel. I expected much better from a property representing the well-known Hyatt Regency brand, but the service didn’t live up to that reputation. I can’t recommend it based on my stay.

We upgraded to a four-bedroom apartment, but the service was still very poor. It took five calls before the extra towels and toiletries we requested were brought up. We also asked for the apartment to be cleaned while we were out. When we got back, it was still in the same condition.
