Jormand Suites Hotel Apartments

We visited last week, my wife and I. The friendly receptionist and staff were pleasant, and the location was good, fairly close to the Metro. The rooms aren’t very lavish, but they’re good value for money. The TV was broken, though we didn’t need it since we only came back at night to sleep well. I felt it was worth what we paid.

We ended up with nowhere to stay during the busy season. At reception, only one woman was there, talking on the phone and writing something down in a noisy area. We waited about 15 minutes before she asked what we needed. She then said our reservation wasn't confirmed, even though we showed her the booking confirmation. When we asked for a supervisor, she called one, and the supervisor also said they had no room and our booking wasn't confirmed. We asked for our money back, but were told to leave our contact details and wait for an update.

The place is old and smells bad, and the breakfast menu is awful unless you're happy eating sausage every day. I also found bed bugs. I can't describe how bad this hotel was. Avoid it.

There was no water, and the room smelled really bad.
