You’re well looked after at Burj Daman, and it’s easy to get around from this central spot. The building has a small supermarket and a lovely pool that’s kept clean and monitored. It feels like a private, well-serviced area right in the middle of Dubai.
Hi all, my client is looking to rent a two-bedroom apartment at Burj Daman. Does anyone have a unit available? They’d prefer a high floor, ideally 30 or above to reduce noise, and a recently upgraded or refurbished place with appliances included, but unfurnished. A corner layout or a quiet unit away from rubbish chutes, lifts, and service areas would be best. A 2BR is preferred, though an exceptional 1BR that meets most of the criteria could work. Budget is AED 190K-200K, with payment in at least two cheques. Please let me know if you have something available.
The security staff, including their manager, were rude and full of attitude. Tulasa, the woman at the residential reception with the name tag, was especially disrespectful to the owner of Daman Tower. They need to learn some manners and how to treat guests. I wouldn’t recommend visiting. Senior management should take this seriously or risk losing revenue.
The reception on the ground floor was very professional, and the elevators are fast. There are good retail options in the building, which is connected to Waldorf Astoria. It’s also right across from DIFC gate avenue, with easy access to Sheikh Zayed.
Burj Daman itself is impressive and well maintained, but parking made my client meeting visit in the DIFC residence block extremely frustrating. After reaching the ramp, I was directed into the building parking area, where the few visitor spaces on one level were all taken. I went in and out four times without finding a spot. Behind the building and in the lower basement levels, access was limited to residents with access cards. There doesn’t seem to be proper parking set aside for visitors. After nearly 30 minutes, I gave up and parked across the street in the mall parking. First-time visitors should arrange parking access in advance with the resident, or they may spend a long time circling. A better system for visitor parking would improve the experience.
