Hotel La Quinta by Wyndham Dubai Jumeirah

I liked the room itself. It was comfortable, nice, and well maintained. But the service let the stay down. Departments didn't seem to communicate: when I asked for simple things like glasses, staff passed me along and told me to contact another department myself. The pool staff member was also unfriendly and didn't show basic hospitality. The property looks nice, but poor service and a lack of staff training really affected my experience.

The location is a strong point, with many good places nearby and easy access around the area. For a low-priced hotel, the breakfast buffet is reasonably good, with vegetarian and non-vegetarian choices, though a proper coffee machine would improve it. Cleanliness was acceptable overall, and the room was usable and fairly clean, but it felt dated. I noticed stains on the curtains, surfaces, and some furniture. The staff didn't make much of an impression either. Service felt unmotivated and lacked the warmth I'd expect at a hotel. It's a mediocre, budget-friendly option. Keep expectations modest. It could work for a short stay if you want somewhere cheap in a good location.

The receptionists were great and upgraded my room without me even asking. The place is lovely and well maintained, with useful restaurants at ground level. There is a pool, but it's only open from 8am to 8pm. I could hear people talking in the corridor from the main door side of the room, which was disturbing. Better sound insulation would help. I'd also like some Indian or better English TV channels, especially news and music, instead of all Arabic channels.

I stayed for three nights and would happily recommend this hotel. My room was spacious and nice, and Catherine and Shein gave me a lovely big one. The staff were very friendly, and housekeeping was quick, though I can't remember that staff member's name.
