Landmark Plaza Hotel

It’s in a good spot near the metro, but the online amenities were misleading. The pool and bowling are in another building, and that wasn’t made clear when I booked. The hotel wouldn’t move me to another room or building. Trip.com support sorted things out later, though the hotel needs to be more upfront. Rating: 3/5.

Ferzin made my stay at Landmar Hotel memorable. She was warm and attentive, and seemed to know what I needed before I asked. Even when the lobby was busy, she made me feel like a priority and took personal care to make sure I was comfortable. The facilities were lovely too, but her professionalism and empathy really stood out. Ferzin is a real asset to the team and deserves recognition. The hotel is right across from the metro, and I felt safe walking around as a woman. The receptionist was nice, too. But my room had flies, the floor wasn’t very clean, and the sheet made my skin itch, so I suspect it hadn’t been changed. To use the pool, you have to go to another hotel branch four hotels away.

The staff were polite and helpful, and the location is hard to beat, right beside Baniyas Square Metro Station. But my room smelled bad, and the towels felt old and worn. That made the stay uncomfortable, especially with the room’s linens and outdated facilities. I’d only stay here if location were my main concern. The room hygiene needs work.
