We needed somewhere safe that day. The hotels we found were at 100% occupancy, so we searched and found a good location. We were satisfied and recommend it to you.
Thanks Sahar for ruining my vacation. The room charges were extremely expensive, and the staff were rude and impolite. Housekeeping was terrible, and most rooms didn't have proper AC. When I complained, nothing was done. One of the worst hotels in Deira.
The location is handy for public transport, very close to Baniyas metro, though the surrounding area is crowded with retail shops and eateries. For a short stay, the hotel is average. WiFi speed and service were good, and there are some smoking areas and smoking rooms. Cable TV has very few channels, with clear reception on only three or four. There’s no security deposit box or kettle in the room, and the washrooms, especially the bathtubs, need better upkeep. Staff were friendly, particularly the Filipino receptionist, and housekeeping was cooperative. Keep in mind it isn't guest friendly: visitors have to leave their IDs at reception.
Please be careful. I’m Japanese, and I don’t want anyone around the world using a hotel this dangerous. Dubai is supposed to be safe, but I’ve never stayed somewhere so barbaric. We paid AED 20 as a deposit just to see the room and the hotel. When we decided to go elsewhere because the room wasn’t good, the front desk said it wasn’t a deposit and wouldn’t refund it. I also took a video of a hotel boy who was about to hit me.
