I still like Bread & Butter for the food and especially the tea, which is always a treat. But yesterday morning, I ordered bread and butter and was disappointed. For 9 AED, I got two plain slices cut into triangles, or four triangle pieces, with only a little butter. It was cold from the fridge, firm enough to make spreading awkward, and the bread wasn't toasted or warm. It's a small thing, but it matters when you pay that much. Owner, please give a proper amount of food for the money. The other food and tea are fantastic, so I'd still recommend the place, but maybe skip this order.

The room at Lumbini Guest House was cozy, and Deepak made the stay even better with outstanding service. What really stood out was the authentic Nepali food. The Khana Set was fresh, flavorful, and just like home. I had an exceptional experience here. If you're in the Bur Dubai area and want good accommodation along with great Nepali food, Lumbini Guest House is a perfect choice. Highly recommended! 🙏

Our agent had arranged another hotel by the time we went to check what was happening at Care Holidays Home. We had booked there in Jan for a few days from 17 Feb 2025 onwards, to attend gulf food. When we arrived, receptionist miss bhandari greeted us like we were aliens and said the booking was canceled. The owner then said he'd told everyone staying that week, and all the agents, that he was canceling bookings because of renovation. We thought the timing was hard to believe, since champion thropy and gulf food events were happening that week. Our agent hadn't received any email or other communication about renovation, and their system still showed the booking as confirmed. They suspected the hotel might have canceled to sell rooms for double rates. We sat in the hotel's indian restaurants, which is the one good thing about this hotel, and looked around. There was no renovation going on. People were staying in rooms, we saw a few empty rooms too, and while we were dining, a nepali family and two European guys were given rooms. We told our agent what we'd seen, and they felt their assumption about higher rates was right. The owner and his team are from nepal. Trust me, they're the first bunch of Nepali people I've met who hate indian. I wouldn't want anyone from india to go or book there, and all india site should ban them. They didn't have the nerve to say things to our face, as they know dubai law's, but they tried every trick in the book to harass us. I scolded our agent and asked them to fix the problem. Business people do things for business, but making others suffer and passing racist comments is unacceptable. PLS NO INDIAN SHOULD GO THERE.

The food and service were both horrible. The taste was bad, and the way the food was served was awful. Staff kept complaining that they were short-staffed and orders were being forgotten, so why let guests come in to dine? There were no apologies, nothing. This was the worst food and service I've ever had. It's disgusting. Never coming back. Please close the restaurant.
