Unfortunately, I can't recommend this property. My confirmed booking was cancelled on the day I was due to check in, with a call saying they couldn't accommodate me because of “emergency maintenance issues.” It was during the Eid holidays, when finding somewhere else at short notice is difficult and often costs much more. They treated a full refund as though it made up for the disruption, but it just returned the money for a service they never provided. There was no real attempt to compensate for cancelling a confirmed reservation, and management was very hard to reach, which made an already stressful situation even more frustrating. The location is nice and the price is fair. I didn't realize the apartment would have almost nothing in it, though. I had to ask them to set up the sofa bed, otherwise I'd have had to buy the whole thing or ask the hotel to do it and pay for that service. The TV wasn't working, maybe just the battery. My rating is mainly about the poor and mixed-up communication. Now that I know what to expect, I might come again. The guy from the rental company was helpful.

The smell was bad, and I've travelled all my life without coming across a hotel this poor. When you need something, the hotel says to contact the company that runs the apartment. Whoever runs the hotel doesn't run the residence.
